At the heart of the Q430 is a differential ESS SABRE ES9028PRO 8-channel DAC configured specifically for stereo playback. This optimized implementation delivers exceptional signal purity, precise imaging, wide soundstaging, and detailed musical resolution. Fully balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analog outputs provide flexible connection to a wide range of preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers. The Q430 also includes a coaxial digital output, allowing it to be used as a dedicated CD transport with an external DAC. A full-color TFT display provides album artwork and playback information, while the precision-milled aluminum chassis and matching aluminum remote control complement the premium Michi design.
