Elargo 200
3-way bass-reflex speaker with two 22 cm XPulse special long-throw bass chassis with rear-ventilated centring spider and stiffened aluminium cone. Down-firing principle for even room excitation. XPulse midrange driver with lightweight, damped, ultra-stiff aluminum cone, powerful drive and rear-ventilated centering spider in a closed midrange cabinet. Tweeter with ultra-light beryllium dome and iron-neodymium-boron magnet for extremely high treble resolution (perfect transient response), upgradeable to diamond.

Loudspeakers must convert the electrical energy of the amplifier into acoustic energy and exite the entire air volume of your room. This task is a real challenge for the loudspeaker, especially in the bass range. That is why even today loudspeaker cabinets must have a large volume and the tweeter should be at ear height. As a result of this and other requirements, column speakers with a height between 90 cm and 1.30 m have proven to be so superior in terms of sound reproduction in living rooms.

This is precisely where we come in with the Elargo series: floor-standing speakers that are 118 cm and 126 cm high, they fit beautifully into your living space and make them the natural centerpiece of your high-end system. Large Base

Set the Elargo to the desired angle of inclination using the four geared adjustment knobs. The scale shows you the height. Four shims are included in the accessories.

Drop-shaped cabinet

The acoustically optimized, drop-shaped cabinet consists of several layers and is heavily braced on the inside. Our highly damped speaker insulation material is also used here in the closed midrange/treble speaker enclosure.

Tweeter optionally available in Beryllium or Diamant Version

Choose between the standard beryllium tweeter and (at extra charge) the best tweeter in the world, the diamond tweeter. Retrofitting is possible at any time without having to replace the crossover.

WBT BiWiring Terminal

The BiWiring terminal on the back of the Elargos: bass volume control (3 levels), the two bass extension sockets for the bridge or the various modules and 4 WBT Nextgen binding posts for BiWiring or BiAmping.
