A highly efficient dedicated racetrack driver has been specifically developed for Muo. With its long excursion and large cone area, it allows Muo to reproduce the lower notes in the bass register with low distortion and low power consumption. The result is a delivery of impressive output and deep controlled bass that punches above its weight whilst ensuring long playback times. Drawing from experience with KEF’s award-winning small and powerful KC62 and KC92 subwoofers, P-Flex Technology has been incorporated into the bass driver’s surround, which resists deformation otherwise caused by high internal air pressure from the small enclosure; thus avoiding distortion and ensuring a clean bass delivery.

A new dedicated 19mm dome tweeter further improves the high-frequency performance that is characteristic of Muo, conveying a natural and clear reproduction of every musical detail in any listening situation.

Muo incorporates the latest Music Integrity Engine® (MIE), KEF’s proprietary suite of advanced DSP algorithms developed for KEF’s larger range of HiFi speakers, such as LS60 Wireless.
